Solid Surface in Vertical and Horizontal Applications

It is amazing when you think about the very many uses for Solid Surface, it is a truly versatile material that can be used just about anywhere, within reason.

This infographic puts, into very simple terms, some of the areas where Solid Surface is used on a regular basis, both vertical and horizontal.

As Solid Surface is so very versatile, it is worth noting that they can provide more flexibility to a project.

1. Feature Walling- Solid Surface can be shaped and curved to create feature walling, as well as having the possibility to have patterns cut into it and backlit.
2. Shower Walling- The material is ideal for this as it is entirely non porous and water resistant.
3. Coved Upstands- Coved (curved upstands) can be created using Solid Surface, so that it curves straight from the worktop directly up the wall.
4. Exterior shop cladding is another area where Solid Surface is ideal
5. Worktops – Solid Surface is used extensively on worktops, used in kitchens and other areas
6. Reception Desks – Due to the ability to join together seamlessly Solid Surface is perfect for this type of application.
7. Wash Troughs- As Solid Surface is totally waterproof, it is perfect for washtroughs
8. Vanity Units- Solid Surface is again perfect for vanity units, for the same reason as trough sinks.
