Solid Surface and Silicosis
Silicosis is an exceptionally serious condition, principally caused by the long-term inhalation of Crystalline Silica dust over an extended period of time. The severity of the condition can cause swelling of the lungs, leading to scarring (fibrosis). In short, the lungs can no longer work properly, and in extreme cases stop working entirely.
