Elenite is a next-generation low carbon Solid Surface, co-developed by LCI and Meganite. Designed for projects where appearance, performance and sustainability all matter, Elenite brings something genuinely different to the Solid Surface market.
Created using a recycled acrylic resin system and natural by-products, including bamboo fibre, walnut shell and walnut dust, Elenite offers a warm, tactile finish with distinctive visual character. It has been engineered to reduce carbon impact while still delivering the durability, reparability and design flexibility expected from a high-quality acrylic Solid Surface.
With its natural tones, subtle texture and calm, design-led palette, Elenite is ideal for interiors that need to feel considered, contemporary and responsible.
Low Carbon Innovation
Elenite has been engineered to deliver significant CO₂ reductions compared with standard Solid Surface, helping specifiers and designers make more responsible material choices without compromising on performance.
Recycled and Natural Content
Made with a minimum of 35% recycled content, Elenite incorporates natural waste materials, including bamboo fibre, walnut shell and walnut dust, creating a surface with depth, warmth and a more organic feel.
Seamless Design
Elenite can be joined with colour-matched adhesive to create sleek, continuous surfaces with inconspicuous joins. This makes it well suited to worktops, countertops, wall panels, furniture and bespoke interior features.
Durable and Repairable
Like other quality acrylic Solid Surfaces, Elenite is homogeneous, meaning the material continues through the full thickness of the sheet. This allows it to be sanded, refinished and lightly repaired, helping to extend the life of the surface.
Stain Resistant and Easy to Maintain
Elenite is designed for real-life use. It is stain resistant, easy to clean and suitable for everyday commercial and residential interiors. Routine cleaning can usually be carried out with mild soap and water, with suitable disinfectants used where required.
Silica-Free and Formaldehyde-Free
Elenite contains no silica and no formaldehyde, making it a thoughtful choice for projects where material safety, fabrication, and indoor environments are important considerations.
Fire Rated Performance
Elenite achieves European Fire Rating EN 13501-1 Class B-s1, d0 and American Fire and Smoke Rating ASTM E84 Class A, supporting its use in a wide range of interior settings.
Elenite has been created for spaces where design detail matters. Its palette takes inspiration from natural materials such as clay, stone, plaster and earth tones, giving it a warm, grounded quality that feels softer than many traditional hard surfaces.
The current colourways include Buckland Brown, Ashbee Beige, Ruskin White and Dawson Black, each offering a distinctive look with subtle natural inclusions.
Elenite is particularly suited to two-dimensional applications such as worktops, countertops, tabletops, wall panels and vertical surfaces. Its seamless joining capabilities also make it an excellent choice for bespoke furniture, reception desks and feature installations.
Due to the natural elements within the material, thermoforming may not be recommended for every application. If a project requires curves or more complex shaping, our team can advise on the best approach.
Elenite Solid Surface is ideal for:
Design-led residential spaces looking for a more sustainable Solid Surface option.
Elenite is not recommended for areas with continuous water exposure, such as inside showers, pools or spas, or for spaces requiring the most stringent hygienic standards, such as hospital operating rooms. For these environments, our team can advise on the most suitable Solid Surface material for the application.
Elenite is a beautiful option for projects looking for something different. It offers the practical benefits of Solid Surface, with a lower carbon story, natural character and a design-led finish.
Whether you are creating a commercial interior, a high-end residential space, a reception desk, a teapoint, a tabletop or a bespoke feature, Elenite offers a surface that feels modern, warm and considered.
