We had to construct a 5 metre high wall feature, which was made up of individually thermoformed “blades” of Solid Surface. Each “blade” was made to curve in a specific angle to create the impression of a “slow motion” appearance of a 90 degree turn.
At the base, the Solid Surface is flat, with it “moving” as the angle progress.
The “blades” themselves were secured to a brass wall, in precision locations to ensure that the effect was consistent.
Every “blade” was made of a number of separate components that were then site seamed into position.
